Shivers of excitement guaranteed by this unique experience. Keen divers particularly enjoy this special kind of diving under the ice in the waters of Lake Lioson, perched at an altitude of some 1'850 metres.
Diving under the ice at Lake Lioson is made possible by using three ice holes kept clear for the whole season. Diving weekends are regularly organised throughout the winter season. Planned by diving clubs or other associations, they are open to all holders of a valid divers’ licence.
The restaurant and its dormitories on the edge of Lake Lioson offer lodgings and shelter. Supplies are delivered by way of a pisting machine. For divers, the ascent to the lake is done on snowshoes, the descent on a sledge.
