Cross country skiing 
- Skiers only allowed on the pistes Pistes are marked out but not supervised
- Skiers use them at their own risk
- Pistes are one-way only and skiers must stay within the marked trails 
- Keep the area clean and take out all rubbish
- Bins are provided in the centres of both Les Mosses and La Lécherette
- Dogs are only allowed on the blue trail
- Special bags and rubbish bins are provided along the way


General recommendations
- Protect and respect nature
- Do not approach wild animals
- Take out all your rubbish
- Do not trample young saplings
- Mountain huts are private properties
- Never overestimate your physical and technical capabilities


Mountain risks and precautions 
- The weather changes very quickly in the mountains
- Stay on the specifically marked trails 
- Never go out alone
- Before leaving inform someone of your intended itinerary
- Make sure to check on both the weather and avalanche danger
- Take extra layers of clothing
- Don't forget to take food and, if possible, a hot drink
